The Role
- Act as the lead finance contact for designated service areas.
- Support budget preparation, monitoring and forecasting.
- Develop business cases, options appraisals and financial models.
- Support grant applications, benchmarking and statutory reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement and strong business partnering.
About You
- AAT qualified/part-qualified or part-qualified CIPFA (or equivalent).
- Experience in budget setting, monitoring and forecasting.
- Strong technical accounting and local government finance knowledge.
- Experience influencing managers through financial insight and challenge.
- Excellent analytical, communication and Excel skills.
