East of England - Ideally based in Peterborough, Corby, Grantham, Spalding or surrounding areas.
A well-established and growing environmental services business is looking to add an experienced service engineer to cover their regional East of England patch (no national travel & constant stayaways). This role is primarily focused along the A1 corridor. You'll be joining a team of 20+ Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of customers across multiple industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has experience working on compactors and balers, or similar Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic equipment. You'll be exposed to a variety of machine types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repair of compactors and balers
- Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites
- Planned preventative maintenance and inspections
- Working on a wide range of equipment and machine types
- Covering a regional patch across the East of England
The Candidate
- Previous experience working on compactors and/or balers is desirable
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
Package
- 40-hour week
- Regional travel only
- Realistic OTE of £45,000
