Based in the Ferndown area, this position offers a mix of stores, warehouse, and delivery responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and working as part of a close-knit team.
Duties for the Stores Person will include:
- Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
- Picking and preparing materials and components for production
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
- Packing and dispatching customer orders
- Delivering products and materials to customers and suppliers using a company van
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Supporting production teams with materials and ensuring work areas are kept organised
- Using internal systems to update stock movements and records
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy stores environment
The ideal candidate for the Stores Person role will have:
- Previous stores, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- A full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience driving a company van or carrying out local deliveries
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
- Basic computer skills and confidence using internal systems
- A positive attitude and willingness to support different departments
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties as part of a busy stores environment
