We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Dorset. This role can offer an immediate start and will be for the next 6 months, with the possibility to be extended. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and highly organised team supporting production, goods-in, stock control, and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities for the Stores Operative:

  • Goods in & out, managing & processing deliveries/couriers and checking documentation
  • Organising goods-in inspections and ensuring materials are stored correctly
  • Inventory control
  • Picking and issuing materials to production
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock takes and inventory checks
  • Liaising with production, planning, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations

What experience you will need for the Stores Operative role:

  • Previous experience within a Stores, Goods-In, Warehouse, or Logistics role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
