Shifts: Mon - Fri 08.30 to 14.30 across the week
Shifts : Sat - Sun 08.30 to 14.30 & 11.30 to 18.00hrs cover on one of the weekend days.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team at Fairlawn, our residential and dementia care home situated in the heart of the Ferndown community.
What you will be doing
- Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
- Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents own rooms
- Provide some support to the laundry team to include washing, drying and ironing of residents clothing
- Comply with all policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations, with regard to cleaning products and use of chemicals.
- Work as a team player to create and maintain a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the home.

Previous experience within a care home setting is not essential – but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!
A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of a larger housekeeping team.
