A growing engineering and testing organisation is seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator to support technical projects across environmental testing, mechanical shock, vibration, EMC, battery testing and product qualification programmes. This role is ideal for someone early in their project career who is confident managing multiple priorities, coordinating internal teams, and supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with engineers, test supervisors and external stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly, documentation is accurate, and deliverables are completed on time. Strong organisation, communication and customer-focus are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for customers throughout project delivery
- Support project planning, scheduling and progress tracking
- Coordinate test samples, documentation and workflow with technical teams
- Assist with subcontract testing, equipment hire and third-party coordination
- Maintain accurate project records, forecasts and administrative documentation
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time to support invoicing
- Provide clear communication to internal teams and customers
Ideal Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Support role
- Engineering, testing, manufacturing or technical environment experience beneficial
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills
- Confident communicator (written, verbal and telephone)
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and business tools
- Positive team player with a 'can-do' attitude
