Derby College Group (DCG) have an opportunity for 2 new team members to join our Facilities Management Team as Caretaker based at our Joseph Wright and Roundhouse Campus at Pride Park. This is an active and varied role as part of a larger team across the estate, and every day will be different!

The Opportunity

  • Tasks will be wide ranging and varied from room set-ups, building unlocks, keeping areas clean and presentable, through to initial light maintenance, painting and routine checks.
  • You will be working a two-shift pattern on a weekly rotation, with the first shift being 5.30am to 1.30pm, and the second shift being 1.30pm to 9.30pm.

About you

  • Previous experience of working in a facilities role is desirable but not essential; if you have the relevant skills to be successful, we will train you on the rest!
  • You will be encouraged to be creative, flexible and resourceful in your approach to the tasks at hand; while delivering a great customer service to the wide range of people you will meet each day.
  • A full clean driving licence is desirable as you will be required to drive College vehicles around and between sites.
