NestBorn is a revolutionary on-farm hatching concept that significantly improves the level of welfare and health of broilers. The hatchery brings and places the pre-incubated eggs directly on a natural litter bed in the broiler house, using the sophisticated NestBorn egg placing machine. Working with Nestborn Machine, only one in the United Kingdom, your duties will include laying across 40+ various Crown Poultry Sites.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
- Running of eggs laying machine
- Loading and unloading eggs
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Preparing poultry houses
- Placement of eggs
- Reporting to Nestborn Line Manager
- Clean, maintaining and driving company vehicle in a safe manner
- Reporting any defects to the workshop
- Feeding with a compact tractor
Requirements, experience and person specification:
- Full Driving Licence, preferably HGV
- Working as part of a team, showing initiative and forward planning
- Following strict bio-security measures
- Monday-Friday, every other Saturday
- Early starts, with excellent timekeeping standards
