We are looking for an experienced Extrusion Setter Operator to support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce various plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor the production process, adjusting as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the extrusion equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure scrap and non-conforming products are kept to a minimum and disposed of correctly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working on extrusion machines, particularly profile or conduit-tube extrusion.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in extrusion operations (training provided).
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of extrusion equipment.
- Ability to assemble and read technical drawings.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Zero Harm – maintain a safe working environment.
- Zero defective raw materials accepted on premises.
- All offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner.
- Zero downtime for machines due to material waiting.
- Working Hours
39 hours per week on a 2‑week rotating shift pattern (rotating shifts 22% allowance; night shifts 25% allowance).
Compensation
Salary is dependent on experience and will be provided upon request; shift allowances provided.
