This is an exciting opportunity to join Young Devon's OFSTED-regulated Supported Lodgings service, where every day brings the chance to make a genuine difference to a young person's life. Supported Lodgings provides young people aged 16 and over with a safe, supportive home environment by matching them with carefully assessed "Hosts". Alongside the support of their Host and local authority, you will play a vital role in helping young people build confidence, develop practical life skills, overcome challenges, and prepare for successful independent living.
Based in Exeter, you'll work directly with young people in their placements, providing regular practical and emotional support while helping them achieve their goals. Working collaboratively with Hosts, partner agencies and the wider Supported Lodgings team, you'll be at the heart of creating positive outcomes and empowering young people to reach their full potential.
As the role involves travelling to meet young people, applicants will need to use their own transport. We're looking for someone who is passionate, motivated and committed to improving the lives of young people. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships, thrive in a varied role, and want to be part of a team that believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
