Key Responsibilities

  • Decontamination, inspection, assembly, and packing of surgical instruments and medical devices
  • Operation of washer-disinfectors, sterilisers, and tracking systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with departmental procedures, quality standards, and HTM 01 01 guidance
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet service demands and turnaround times
  • Supporting a clean, safe, and well organised working environment

About You

  • Has excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly
  • Can follow strict procedures and quality standards
  • Is comfortable working in a technical, process driven environment
  • Is willing to undertake training and development within the role
  • Previous experience in sterile services or a decontamination environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working Pattern

  • Early Shift - Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
  • Late Shift - Monday - Friday 13:30 - 21:30
  • One weekend in Four 08:00 - 16:00
