Extended Scope Practitioner (Hand and Wrist Team)

The postholder will work autonomously with an agreed cohort of Hand & Wrist patients in delivering clinics on behalf of the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, providing initial assessment and diagnosis, identifying and interpreting appropriate investigations, listing for surgical and therapeutic procedures and the follow up of patients.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing patients with a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions; have post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position and demonstrable, high level clinical reasoning skills.

The postholder will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a Multidisciplinary Team.

• Working Pattern: 37.5 Hours Per Week Monday - Friday
