Do you enjoy helping students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential?

We're working with a welcoming and inclusive Further Education college in North West London that is looking for an Exams Access Arrangements Assessor to join their team from September through to December.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assessor who is passionate about supporting learners with additional needs. Your work will have a direct impact on students' educational journeys, ensuring they receive the support, reasonable adjustments and exam access arrangements they need to succeed with confidence.

The Role

As an Exams Access Arrangements Assessor, you'll be at the heart of ensuring students can access education on a level playing field. Working closely with teaching staff, Learning Support teams and Exams departments, you'll help identify the support learners need and provide expert recommendations that can make a genuine difference to their outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments using recognised psychometric assessment tools.
  • Recommend appropriate learning support, reasonable adjustments and exam access arrangements.
  • Provide specialist advice to lecturers, Learning Support Assistants, examinations teams and student support services.
  • Support students with additional learning needs throughout their educational journey.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality and awarding body requirements.
  • Promote inclusive learning practices across the college.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience carrying out diagnostic assessments and producing assessment reports.
  • A recognised qualification enabling you to assess exam access arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of exam access arrangements and relevant regulations.
  • Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Morgan Hunt.

Why Apply?

Few roles offer the opportunity to make such a visible impact on a student's success. The recommendations you make could be the difference between a learner struggling in an exam and being able to demonstrate their true ability.

You'll be joining a college that is committed to inclusion, student achievement and removing barriers to learning, while working alongside dedicated professionals who share the same goal.

If you're looking for a rewarding temporary opportunity where your expertise can genuinely change outcomes for learners, we'd love to hear from you.
