We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Machine Operator to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Eversley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual with experience operating forklifts, excavators, and loading shovels.
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring waste is processed safely and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile and fixed plant, including forklifts, excavators, and loading shovels.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Direct and manage site traffic, including guiding tipping vehicles safely around the site.
- Operate the weighbridge and accurately record vehicle weights and other required information (full training provided).
- Assist with the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site.
- Support the wider site operations team as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with site permits, company procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and report any hazards or defects promptly.
