Bristol office and reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Estimator will be responsible for preparing robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries within an established medium-sized main contractor.
The role will involve pricing a diverse range of opportunities, including high-value, long-term contracts and framework agreements, alongside one-off projects typically ranging from £100k to £5m.
Projects span a variety of sectors, including schools, universities, healthcare, bespoke builds and warehouses
- Experience working for a main contractor within refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out, or new-build environments.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering procedures.
- Experience using estimating software and tender management platforms.
- Understanding of framework providers and public sector frameworks.
- Ability to undertake site visits and assess project requirements independently.
