About the Role / Job Summary
A leading organisation is seeking an Estates Maintenance Manager.
In this role, you will ensure that the estate remains safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance operations, overseeing asset management, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create enjoyable environments while safeguarding assets for future generations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair programs across all sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and develop action plans for resolution.
- Manage the internal helpdesk system and collaborate with colleagues to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Oversee sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and safety standards.
- Review operational processes regularly to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance operations.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in facilities management or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing maintenance teams and contractors.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and compliance regulations.
