We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a young lady in Chelmsford, Essex.
The role is focused on helping her enjoy a positive and meaningful quality of life while encouraging independence, confidence and participation in everyday activities.
Main responsibilities
Provide friendly, respectful and person-centred support.
Support with simple cooking and meal preparation.
Encourage and accompany her on walks and other outdoor activities.
Plan and participate in fun, enjoyable and meaningful activities.
Provide companionship and positive social interaction.
Encourage independence and support her to make her own choices.
Support her to develop confidence and life skills.
Ensure her dignity, privacy and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Follow agreed care and support plans.
Report any concerns regarding her health, safety or wellbeing appropriately.
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety and other relevant care procedures.
