ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Turner Setter and Operator using Fanuc, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels, to join our client based in Stroud. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner to work on complex manufactured components.
During peak manufacturing times the company requires Setters and Operators to work a late shift. The hours for this shift would be: 14.00 – 23.00 Monday to Thursday and there is a 30% upload on your hourly rate.
To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner/Lathe
- Ability to set intricate parts for milling
- Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
- Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential
- Experience of precision components is highly desirable
- Operate CNC Machinery (CNC Mills) producing Aerospace Quality Machined Components
- Select the required tooling to perform machining operations
- Edit and adjust machining programs
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes
- Ensure compliance with all Safety Policies of the Business and contribute to a safe working environment
