Requirements:
- You must be a physically fit, hardworking individual.
- Ideally a valid Counterbalance forklift license.
- Be aware of all parameters which may impact upon product quality and act on them by being a pro-active team player, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff.
- Working accurately and methodically.
- Capable of working within a small warehouse team with minimum guidance and instruction, with a high level of attention to detail.
Key Tasks:
- General warehouse duties – including a ‘clean as you go’ approach.
- Sorts and conveys goods to storage locations.
- Maintains stock rotation based on manufacturing date.
- Palletising and stacking 16kg – 25kg bags.
- Operating Shrink wrap machine to securely wrap full pallets.
- Vehicle loading of completed pallets.
- Carrying out pre-start up checks on forklift, ensuring that trucks are fully operational and maintained.
- Flexible in working hours and occasionally willing to stay to complete the tasks as required.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to food safety.
- Accurate completion of delivery notes ensuring all required data is captured.
