Principle Duties to include: First point of contact for SDH&C staff for HR queries manage the HR queries inbox ensuring that queries are directed appropriately and in a timely manner.
Assist with the review & updating of HR policies.
Ensure that revisions to policies are disseminated to the teams and uploaded to the intranet.
Produce and review template documentation/ proformas in relation to HR processes, such as 1:1s, appraisals and mid-term reviews.
Responsible for maintaining personnel files within appropriate timescales - ensuring all HR documentation is stored securely and every employee has the correct documentation stored.
Support the HR/OD Advisory and Business Partner in the management of employee relations, acting as a formal note-taker during grievance, investigation and disciplinary meetings and distributing required correspondence when required.
Maintain SDH&C staff database with up to date employee information.
Monitor fixed term contracts, professional registrations, DBS and right to work.
Advise on terms and conditions queries such as annual leave and basic terms and conditions seeking advice from HR Business Partner for complex queries Support with updating the SDH&C handbook.
