First Call Education is recruiting reliable Temporary School Cleaning Staff to join a school in Enfield, North London, for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of a longer-term position. You’ll play an important part in keeping the school clean, safe and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors — working across the middle of the day and the after‑school clean‑down.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
- Cleaning and maintaining school toilets to a high standard.
- Ensuring classrooms and shared areas are clean, tidy and presentable.
- Following cleaning schedules and instructions from the cleaning supervisors.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant supervisor.
- Supporting the wider cleaning team to maintain standards across the school.
- Working in line with school procedures and health & safety requirements.

- Previous cleaning experience is desirable, ideally within a school or similar environment.
