Join the CUH team at the Ely and Wisbech Community Diagnostic Centres! An exciting opportunity has been created to play a key role in transforming children’s respiratory services, delivering high-quality care closer to home. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Nurse to lead nurse-led clinics within Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs). The post holder will support early diagnosis and management of Asthma in children and young people, working within a community-based service on both Ely and Wisbech CDC sites. Main duties of the job:

  • Lead and deliver specialist paediatric asthma clinics within CDCs
  • Undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of respiratory conditions including asthma, chronic cough, and wheeze
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to children, young people, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Work collaboratively across primary, community, and secondary care services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community respiratory pathways
  • Support education, training, and supervision of staff and students
  • Participate in clinical leadership, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
