About the Role

We are looking for a motivated

Electrical Installation Apprentice to develop the practical skills, technical knowledge and qualifications required to become a fully qualified electrician.

You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced electrical professionals while completing a structured Level 3 apprenticeship.

The role will provide exposure to electrical installation, testing, maintenance and commissioning across a range of environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already completed a Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification and is looking to progress their career within the electrical and construction sectors.

Important: This apprenticeship is only open to residents of the London Borough of Haringey.

Main Duties

  • Carry out electrical installation, testing, verification and maintenance work under appropriate supervision.
  • Work on low-voltage electrical systems, including AC and DC systems.
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Follow the requirements of

BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and relevant industry standards.

  • Assist with inspections, maintenance and condition reporting of existing electrical installations.
  • Install wired and wireless electrical solutions.
  • Assist with assessing electrical loads and selecting appropriate installation methods.
  • Install electrical connections for heating and cooling systems.
  • Assist with the installation of mains-powered life safety systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
  • Follow electrical drawings, specifications and manufacturer instructions.
  • Comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
  • Work safely when using electrical tools, equipment and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
  • Attend college, training sessions and site-based learning as required.
  • Maintain a professional approach and continue developing technical skills throughout the apprenticeship.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Must live in the London Borough of Haringey.

English and Maths at

GCSE Grade 4 or above , or Functional Skills Level 2 or above.
