Based at South Gyle, this is a fully office-based role with free parking. It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. These are long-term temporary contracts for a minimum of 9 months, with strong potential to be extended and may become permanent. The pay rate is £13.50 per hour plus holiday pay.

Search Consultancy is currently working with one of our major Financial Services clients based at South Gyle to recruit a number of Customer Service Advisors to work in their Front Office contact centre. Please note that as these roles will be working within Financial Services, candidates must be able to pass both a criminal record check (Disclosure Scotland) and a Credit Check.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for both advisors and customers via telephone calls and digital channels
  • Supporting with outbound customer contact where required
  • Delivering the best possible customer service at all times
  • Supporting customers with using digital options where required and explaining self-service options
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements in the team
  • Logging information accurately on internal systems

In order to be considered for these roles, your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience working in a professional contact centre environment, preferably within Financial Services
  • Any candidates with experience including working with or exposure to ISA's, SIPP's, and bonds would be advantageous, however, this is not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a busy workload effectively
  • Experience of working to targets, deadlines, or SLA's
  • Solid IT skills, including the use of Word and Excel
