The postholder provides comprehensive administrative support to clinical staff, including correspondence, appointment management, and IT troubleshooting.
They supervise and train Band 3 receptionists, take minutes at meetings, manage reports and administrative systems, oversee procurement, maintain service email distribution lists, act as Fire Marshal lead, and report concerns or incidents to the Band 5 admin manager.

The postholder provides frontline administrative support within the Trust, liaising with colleagues, service users, carers, and stakeholders while maintaining excellent customer service.
They manage administrative systems, support clinical staff, contribute to service improvements, and assist in monitoring team performance.
The role also involves supervising and training junior administrative staff, taking minutes at meetings, and carrying out other duties appropriate to the grade.
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including correspondence, emails, telephone calls, and appointment management (including text reminders).
- Supervise and oversee Band 3 receptionists, including training and induction.
- Take minutes at weekly clinical MDT and other team meetings.
- Manage and update reports, spreadsheets, and administrative systems.
- Monitor and order stationery and other procurement items.
- Troubleshoot IT issues in liaison with BEH or C&I support teams.
- Act as Fire Marshal lead for the building.
- Handle enquiries from service users and carers with sensitivity and tact, using persuasion skills when required.
- Report concerns or incidents to the Band 5 admin manager and complete incident reporting as necessary.
