Duties as Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils in classroom and small group settings to enhance learning
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Provide one-to-one support for pupils who need additional help
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies
- Help with administrative tasks and classroom organisation
- Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
- Strong understanding of classroom support and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
