Were now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Team Leader at Edenbridge Manor Care Home in Edenbridge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Team Leaderwill be tosupportthehome management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors, and staff.

  • Other Responsibilities
  • Leadingin the person-centred care planning processby implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations, completing care plan audits, developing action plans, andbeing responsible forcompletingthe action plans.
  • Assisting in the smooth transition of any discharges from the home, including documentation, medication, and keeping the residents' next of kin fully informed, where appropriate.
  • Leadingwithmonitoringthewell-being of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingcare and care planning andensuring that changing needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
  • Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks and moving and handling of residents, by assessing risks and having due regard for personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.

  • Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Two years experience working in a senior position with the resident group.
  • Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the absence of the manager.
