We are seeking a highly skilled Paint Sprayer to join our client's reputable automotive repair centre in Edenbridge, Kent. Our client prides itself on delivering high-quality repairs with a focus on attention to detail and craftsmanship. Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum. Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Modern workshop with advanced mixing and spray equipment. Stable employment with ongoing training and career development. Varied workload, predominantly smaller repairs including smart repairs, bumper re-sprays, and minor panel work. Opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to high standards. Immediate start available, subject to interview.

Duties as a Paint Sprayer:

  • Carry out paint spraying and surface preparation on a range of vehicles, including small repairs and bumper refinishing.
  • Use advanced paint mixing and colour matching systems to ensure precise colour matching.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting through stripping, masking, and priming.
  • Apply finishing coats, ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage workload, typically completing 3 to 5 jobs per week.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with additional tasks such as stripping, fitting, and panel work when necessary.
  • Ensure all repairs meet the established quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer with a strong understanding of modern spray and mixing techniques.
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training is highly preferred.
