Physiotherapy Assistant | East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant to work within our Acute Stroke service at Eastbourne District General Hospital.

As part of this role you will work with a team of Physiotherapists providing a high level of acute rehabilitation to the patients of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust; including Neurological Conditions, Rehabilitation on Critical Care and patients repatriated from Major Trauma Centres.

As part of the Physiotherapy department you will be joining a big supportive team passionate about caring for the residents of East Sussex.

You will have the opportunity to attend an in-service training programme and complete supervision sessions with your line manager.

Please note this post may be closed early due to high levels of interest.

You will be required to work alongside the Physiotherapists and also autonomously carrying out exercise programmes, maintenance programmes and rehabilitation sessions planned by a Physiotherapist.

You will be responsible for completing data inputting and assisting with the ordering of equipment through the Millbrook system to ensure timely discharge for patient’s across the trust.
