We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a project East Grinstead.
The ideal candidate will have experience in occupied buildings, distribution boards and risers, safe isolation, 24V controls, MID meters/CTs, BMS, HVAC, and VRF systems
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and current regulations
- Undertake distribution board modifications and electrical riser works
- Install and connect secondary low voltage HVAC power supplies and control systems
- Install transformers, miniature circuit breakers, cabling, and containment systems
- Complete installation of VRF metering arrangements, including MID-approved meters and CTs
- Install electrical supplies to roof-mounted cabinets and associated equipment
- Carry out safe isolation procedures, inspection, testing, and certification of completed works
- Produce accurate documentation, including labelling, photographs, test records, and redline drawings
- Work safely and efficiently within an occupied commercial environment, minimising disruption to building users
- Support project delivery and ensure works are completed to programme and quality standards
- Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
- Recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- Strong commercial installation experience, particularly with distribution boards and power distribution systems
- Experience working within occupied commercial premises
- Good understanding of HVAC, BMS, VRF systems, metering installations, and associated electrical infrastructure
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures and best practice
