We have an opportunity to join our team working full time across Ardler and Kirkton Libraries as a Library & Information Officer.
Requirements
You will have 2 Highers or equivalent including English or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent Responsibilities
As part of Leisure & Culture Dundee’s Library and Information Service provide an efficient, responsive and courteous service to the users of the Service.
The Individual
You will have experience of working in a library or information environment and be skilled in use of social media.
You will be adaptable, with good organisational and communication skills and an ability to motivate staff.
You will have good customer care skills, be self-motivated, adaptability and creative and have an enthusiasm for working with children.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to work being offered by Leisure & Culture Dundee.
