Our client, a reputable and well-established main dealer group in Dudley, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious automotive Vehicle Technician to advance their career within a leading global brand.

The successful Vehicle Technician will benefit from a competitive salary, ongoing training, and clear career progression.

  • Basic salary up to £32,000, with potential for higher pay for senior technicians with franchise-specific training
  • OTE earnings of £40,000+ including bonus
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with a Saturday morning rota (1 in 4), paid as overtime
  • Onsite parking

Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include

  • Performing servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring high-quality standards
  • Conducting diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults accurately
  • Completing manufacturer and workshop paperwork to industry standards
  • Contributing to team efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Participating in manufacturer training to advance skills and understand evolving vehicle technology
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or NVQ Level 2 with relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dealership or automotive workshop environment
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Authorisation to work in the UK
  • Confident in completing repairs and diagnostics to industry standards
  • Previous main dealer experience is advantageous but not essential; a strong workshop background is sufficient
  • Professional attitude, with pride in the quality and efficiency of your work
