The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Dudley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026 on a supply basis.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that develop students' confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, reasoning, and problem-solving
- Support pupils in preparing for GCSE Mathematics, ensuring high levels of progress and achievement across a range of abilities
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a positive classroom environment encouraging all learners to achieve their full potential
The Candidate
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
- Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
