We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic independent living property that supports elderly residents who own or rent their own flats within the complex.

They are looking for friendly, reliable agency Care Assistants to step in and handle scheduled morning and early afternoon visits.

This is the perfect role if you want the flexibility of agency work combined with a structured, rewarding routine helping lovely residents maintain their independence.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Morning and Scheduled Support: Making your rounds to help residents with their personal care and getting ready for the day.
  • Meals and Meds: Helping with meal preparation and safely administering medication (plus filling out those all-important MAR charts).
  • Mobility and Assistance: Lending a hand with mobility around their flat to keep them moving safely.
  • Light Housekeeping: Helping out with basic domestic duties and cleaning to keep their space cozy and safe.
  • Emotional Support: Being a friendly, listening ear and making sure the residents feel safe, secure, and happy in their homes.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker.
  • Someone who is reliable, punctual, and loves an early morning routine.
  • A kind, respectful, and compassionate personality.
  • Great communication skills and an eye for detail when it comes to paperwork.

This role offers ongoing hours for the right candidate

We have full time and part time hours available throughout the week within the Chesterfield area with typical working hours starting from 06:00am and lasting for between 5 to 8hrs.

You will be paid £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £13.33 AND unsociable hours being paid at £16.90 per hour
