The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils as they prepare for the final stages of primary education. You'll help children develop greater independence, resilience and confidence while delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners of all abilities. You will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, supporting pupil progress across the curriculum and helping children build the skills they need for a successful transition into Year 6 and beyond. Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it
  • Have experience teaching within primary education, ideally KS2
  • Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that promote pupil achievement
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Are committed to maintaining high expectations for all learners
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for teaching to the classroom
