We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join a busy warehouse operation for a 2-week temporary assignment in August.

For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to secure a permanent position within the business following the placement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced team where your skills and experience will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

  • Placement Dates: Monday 3rd August to Friday 14th August
  • Induction & Training: 29th, 30th and 31st July (where possible)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Breaks: 1-hour unpaid break (can be taken as 2 x 30-minute breaks)

The Role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and trailers across the site.

  • Moving goods between warehouse facilities on site.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
  • Safely manoeuvring vehicles within a busy yard and tight-space environment.
  • Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritise the movement of goods.
  • Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A full UK Category B driving licence.
  • LGV Category C licence and a valid yard shunter/competency certificate.
  • Previous experience shunting trailers within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
  • A reliable, flexible approach and availability for an immediate start.
