We are recruiting a Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Dorset All-Age Community Eating Disorder Service, a large multidisciplinary team within Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. This job-share role provides comprehensive PA and administrative support to Community Consultants, working as part of a pool of PAs.

The postholder will manage a varied workload including diary management, meeting coordination, and wider service administration, requiring effective prioritisation, organisation, and the ability to work independently. We are seeking someone with proven senior administrative experience, ideally within the NHS, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach. Knowledge of NHS systems, including ESR, would be advantageous.

The role is based at Kings Park Hospital (with a planned relocation to St Ann’s Hospital in 2027) or in Trinity Street, Dorchester. Driving is essential for this role. You will be required to have a full and valid UK driving licence and to travel using your own vehicle on Trust business.

You will take overall responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, effective and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the community consultants within the Eating Disorders Service and their team of medical staff. You will co-ordinate the workload of the community consultants including organising outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
