We are recruiting for an experienced First Line Manager for Monday - Friday Night shift to join a busy logistics operation in Doncaster. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a warehouse team, ensuring operational targets, productivity, quality and health & safety standards are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with their team, driving performance and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
- Manage day-to-day team performance, productivity and attendance.
- Allocate workloads and resources effectively across the shift.
- Monitor KPIs and take action where performance falls below expectations.
- Coach and develop team members to improve performance and capability.
- Conduct team briefings and communicate operational requirements clearly.
- Support the Shift Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Ensure company procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements are followed.
- Identify operational issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Support investigations relating to attendance, conduct and performance.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Provide flexibility and support during periods of increased workload.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a First Line Manager, Team Leader or Supervisory role within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing and motivating a warehouse team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and performance management.
- Confident monitoring KPIs and driving performance against targets.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach to leadership.
- Ability to manage priorities and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable addressing performance, attendance and conduct issues.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends when required.
What's on Offer
Salary from £17.81 per hour, equivalent of £31,000 yearly salary + 12% shift allowance
Weekly Pay
Monday to Friday Night Shift, working hours 22:00 till 06:00
Due to fluctuations in operational volumes, flexibility to work weekends may occasionally be required.
Minimum 6-month assignment with the potential to secure a permanent position.
