  • About me

I am a lady in my 60s living independently in my own home in Armthorpe.

I have spina bifida and am paralysed from the waist down.

I use a powered wheelchair and have good upper body strength, but require support with many day-to-day tasks, personal care and transfers.

I also have lymphoedema/lipoedema affecting my legs, recurrent cellulitis infections and a pressure wound which is monitored by District Nurses.

My family have supported me for many years and I am now looking to build a team of caring and reliable Personal Assistants to help me remain independent and continue living life happily in my own home.

I enjoy a good chat and value kindness, patience and a sense of humour.

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week. Support is required across 7 days per week and may include some overnight support when required.
