We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dedicated Maternal medicine/Diabetic Midwife as a Band 7.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced midwife who will play a crucial role in understanding how a specialized care is provided to expectant mothers and their babies.
You will have the chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, enhancing your skills and knowledge in advanced maternal medicine.
- The midwife is responsible and accountable for his/her own midwiferypractice.
- To work in partnership with women and their families, GP, obstetrician andother agencies to ensure optimum care.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of mothers and babies inaccordance with the Trust’s policies and guidelines.
- Strive for continuity of care and informed client choice within the limitations ofthe service.
- Facilitate the learning of midwifery skills through supervision, teaching andsupport.
- Actively promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle, advising and arrangingsupport for women as required.
- Participate in parent information groups, facilitating preparation for childbirthand the postnatal period.
