A warm and welcoming 28-bed residential care home in the heart of Ripley is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join their team for weekend shifts.
This beautifully maintained home provides 24-hour personalized care, focusing on supporting residents to live with dignity, joy, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
- Personalized Care: Deliver high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support, tailored to each resident's unique needs.
- Care Planning: Follow, maintain, and update individualized care plans to ensure seamless, high-standard support.
- Holistic Wellbeing: Promote residents’ emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing, fostering a warm and positive living environment.
- Independence and Engagement: Encourage daily independence and support residents in participating in meaningful activities and engagement.
- What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker (essential).
- A genuinely compassionate, empathetic, and patient nature.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Reliability and a commitment to working weekend hours.

We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
- To apply for this role you must;
- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
