- Autism Support Worker (Days) to join our dedicated team at CONIFERS
- You’ll be working
42 hours (Days Only - 08:00 AM till 08:00 PM) per week, including alternative weekends.
The Service
CONIFERS is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and moderate to severe learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge.
We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration.
Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each person’s specific needs.
We understand that consistency and continuity of care is important for the people we support.
The People We Support
- Adults from the age of 18 years
- Individuals with a diagnosis of autism & learning disability
- May present with behaviours that challenge
- May have communication challenges
- May have associated complex needs
- May have an ECHP (Education Healthcare Plan)
- May be subjected to Do LS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) or Care Orders
Your Day-to-Day
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
