We are currently recruiting cover supervisors to work across secondary schools in Dawlish and the surrounding areas. Duties as Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils during lessons
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
