GTI Power Generation is looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Diesel Generator Electrical / Test Engineer to join our manufacturing team. We manufacture high-quality diesel generators and are expanding into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), making this an exciting time to join our business.
The role will include:
- Electrical assembly and wiring of diesel generator sets and associated control panels
- Reading and working from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Installation and termination of cables, control systems and switchgear
- Testing, commissioning and fault-finding on completed generator sets
- Carrying out functional testing to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults during the build and testing process
- Completing test documentation and quality records
- General workshop duties as required
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
