Shift: 2 on 4 off including sleeps

Looking for a leadership role where your day-to-day impact genuinely matters? Our Client is hiring for a Team Leader in a Darwen home supporting up to 3 young people (currently operating as a solo placement). If you're compassionate, confident and ready to lead shifts with structure and heart, this could be your next step.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and support day-to-day care for a young person in a consistent, calm environment
  • Work shifts including sleep-in duties (10 sleeps per month) and follow a clear 2 on / 4 off pattern (8am-11pm)
  • Deliver safe, supportive routines and high-quality care across each shift
  • Step up as a point of support for the team, helping maintain positive standards of care
  • Support the running of the home in line with expectations for the placement

What you'll bring as a Team Leader:

  • Experience working in social care (ideally with an understanding of residential support)
  • Natural leadership presence - able to guide, motivate and keep things on track
  • Empathy and strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust
  • A professional, respectful approach to care and safeguarding-minded practice

Additional information:

Pay: £14.17 per hour (£25,506 per annum) plus £10,201.20 sleep allowance per year
