What you'll be doing:
- Manage and oversee the running of a solo placement home in Darwen (registered for up to 3 young people)
- Lead day-to-day care, ensuring consistent, nurturing support for young people
- Coordinate routines and staff practices across a Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm shift pattern (flexible working hours available)
- Support and develop the team, helping create a calm, structured setting that young people can thrive in
- Take ownership of the home's performance and day-to-day standards
What you'll bring:
- Proven ability to lead in a children's residential care setting (or similar) and guide practice with confidence
- Strong judgement and a steady approach-able to prioritise what matters most for safeguarding and wellbeing
- A supportive, respectful leadership style that builds trust with young people and colleagues
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care every day

£48,000 to £55,000 , depending on experience
