Southeast - Ideally based in Essex or Kent

£35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel

A well-established and growing garage equipment wholesale business is looking to add an experienced service engineer to cover a regional patch, working on a catalogue of top of the range garage equipment. This role is focused in the Kent and Essex area, with travel further afield when required. You'll be joining a team of 30 Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work. You'll be exposed to a variety of equipment types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.

The Role

  • Installation, service, maintenance and repair of garage equipment
  • Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites
  • Planned preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Working on a wide range of equipment
  • Covering a regional patch

The Candidate

  • Previous experience working on Electromechanical/Hydraulic equipment
  • Could be from transferrable industries, eg a forklift engineer or car mechanic
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
