We are seeking 2 energetic Personal Assistants who love to bounce a few hours away on a trampoline or enjoy a swim at the local pool. The teenage boy is looking for 2 special people to build a relationship, have fun, and enjoy days out. He enjoys activities outdoors like going to the local park, where he can explore, and going to eat at McDonald's.
The boy has lots of energy and can sometimes run off. He can become dysregulated and feel overwhelmed when in noisy and busy places. He doesn’t like to go on public transport.
Personal Assistants must have a good understanding of autism and sensory issues, be kind, patient, and build a good companionship. It would be preferred to have a person with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Expenses will be met by the employer.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.
