Personal Assistants needed to help a 15-year-old girl. 1 x PA to cover 2-1, 4 hours per week in school holidays only in the HU7 area.
1 x PA is needed to work together with another PA to support a young female who is non-verbal but will make her needs known. PAs will need to always supervise her and be aware that she has no sense of danger and try to minimise any risk from harm. You will need to take a wheelchair when out in the community for safety.
She will need support with personal care, continence care, and nappy changes. The young girl will lead you by the hand to make her needs known to you and lead you to places where she wants to be. She enjoys driving in cars where she can sightsee and likes to go swimming. The PAs will need to help with getting ready for swimming and support when she comes out of the pool.
The hours are for 4 hours each PA to work together with the young female, which can be discussed at interview. This role would suit a person who has access to a car; mileage expenses would be met by the employer.

They receive funding via a Direct Payment to directly employ their own Personal Assistant.
