Responsibilities
- To cover when other staff are on A/L, off sick or have an emergency.
- Provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock.
- Accompany the gentleman on outings to golf / fishing weather permitting and to appointments.
- Assist with personal care, medication, making a meal / sandwich / drink.
- Assist with companionship within his home.
Requirements
- Full Drivers licence required; will have to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell.
- It is essential that you are reliable, trustworthy, respectful and aware of the importance of confidentiality.
The gentleman is very independent. He has a wheelchair which he only uses when necessary. He uses oxygen and may at times not feel up to going out, therefore companionship within his home.
